Its fixed!!!! touch wood i can see no leaks, what an absolute pig of a job though.

It was 4.75mm brake pipe used, so i had to get a normal flare one end then sandpaper the other end down to 4.5mm and citroen flare that!

heres the picture!

The citroen museum was in castellane in the south of france in provence, someone on here actually recommended it and scene as i was in the south at the time i thought why not!

I bought the keyring from a guy who said he worked in advertising and i think they were made specifically for a french dealership only.

Ill have to remember about that next time im in France.

Would be excellent to have a visit to the conservatoire in paris, sometimes it opens for car events, such as group visits. I missed out on going a year or so ago with the traction club, would have been fantastic to have a look around there.

Good work Dave :D

I should have looked here first before asking you about the coiling in your other thread. I'd have seen it then

A right so and so of a job but you did it and that's the main thing. Well done! =D> =D>

I put one extra clamp on today and it appears to have cut down the vibration somewhat but not quite completely! I will do some more tweaking! i did twiddle a screw on top of the bosch pump and now the engine sounds a bit more revy! think i might put it back!

Right Ive got it! Drove the Xm back from leicester today, it was beautiful! I like the auto box, love the ride and of course it looks awesome :D .
The xantia is now in storage, i felt quite mean leaving it next to a load of caravans!

Ive got a fair bit of work to do, lots of minor things, ie
sunroof switch broken
rust on one wheel arch (Gareth will be getting a phone call!)
ABS light on
Random rubber pipe broken above driver side wheel, appears to go to the brakes, cant be good. (picutre to follow)
Dot matrix display broken
Biofuel conversion  (its already on 50/50)

Not so minor-- Leather seats needed!

Will put pics up soon, me and Luke have given it a damn good clean and it is looking much better :D

Looking forward to seeing better pictures than the auction one's - looks a nice
straight car although I'm surprised about rust on the rear arch. Nice car with
what were originally s1 24v v6 alloys although later Exclusives saw them too.
Is the seat material the 1/2 + 1/2 grey chamois and velour then?

Yes the seats are 1/2 chamois 1/2 velour, the drivers bolster has worn througn to the foam though!

Below is the pip that has sheared, and urinated fluid!

Seems to be a common feature on your cars Dave :(

Xm looks good though, hope it performs well for you.

A smart matching pair! Glad you've taken well to the charms of the Xm!

That's just the leak off return pipe from the front ram and can be found on
Bx's, Xantiae and Xm's. GSF do sell a repair replacement for IIRC 8-9quid
but the clamp holding it onto the ram is a right sh!t to refit.

Better try to stitch a length of LHM plastic 3.5mm return pipe between the split
ends in a bridge with sections of still good rubber piping onto the metal pipe
that disappears into the wheelarch (in your last picture by the lhm stain!)

Looks to be a very nice Xm Dave, even the bumpers look untouched. 8) They look very good together!

Are you now using the Xm while your Xantia is resting?
Judging by that Escrot a cover might be a good investment!

You will have to let me know what you think to the Xm compared with your Xantia :)

Ahhhhh Someone help!
I took some fuses out to identify which one is blown and now the lights are flashing on an off and nothing will stop it!
Anyone know how before the bulbs blow?
