When it comes to fuel money, the best thing to do is not think about itvince wrote:Ive been checking the prices and show agenda. Im still planning to come down on the saturday but diesel alone is gonna cost me £40 i reckon
Im not sure what your driving style is like, but just go for a very light right foot and anticipate
Xac, to save me having to lug up spare oil or buy that expensive DERV stuff that a lot of other people seem to use, could we sort something outXac wrote: If you'd like, I can pick up some veg from costco for the ride home. 75ppl

Just a thought. But it fuel is going to be a problem for some people. I am quite happy to provide a lift to anyone from these parts. Even if it means driving to here and then continuing on from here. At least some fuel money would be saved.

The 2.1 is the same. I need to carry a can of Plus Gas to free off the filler cap flap as it is so rarely opened it seizes up..DickieG wrote: Yes indeed, IIRC I did put some diesel in mine at some point but its sooo long ago
No such trouble on the Activa

Thanks for the offer Xac,
Im still a bit cautious about making the leap just yet as i dont know enough about it. I am definately up for a chat about the subject though that weekend....
I thought veg was around the 90 odd pence a litre mark?
I have a feeling i am going to learn alot on that weekend...tips etc

That's a bummer, I'll give you a hand with the heater, BTW does your car have the 30 pin rectangular diagnostic socket? If so I'll bring my ELIT along with me.vince wrote:Guys, how gutted am i....i reckon i might have to work on the Saturday...
