I doing fine Jim, I keep looking in from time to time and catching up. I've not had anything French since my 406 V6 coupe a few years ago, I do have a Ford Focus now with a French 2.0 diesel heart which I love so I'm part way there.
2009 Landrover Freelander 2 TD4se (killed an Audi) , sadly now gone .
2012 Landrover Freelander 2 SD4 AUTO Love it . Now gone .
2014 Ford Bmax 1.0 Ecoboost Zetec . Fantastic little machine .Gone now.
2014 Ford Focus 2.0 Tdci Zetec S with the French heart.

4 years on Chris. I've no citroens now, just a pair of vags. One is a skoda yeti elegance, 2014, 2.0tdi140 dsg. Had it two years now and love it. However at its recent MOT, at the skoda dealer I bought it from it needed a new spring. That didn't bother me. What did bother me was the pile of advisories it got for corossion issues. These issues are totally unfounded, it has no more corossion than any other 9 year old car. I am not amused as that's bound go have devalued it quite a bit.

The other vag just got changed a few days ago. I had a 2014 1.6tdi caddy which I had bought to do the hot food deliveries. I'm not doing that now due to deteriorating health so I put it up for sale. One of my mates really wanted it so he now owns it. However he persuaded me to take his car in trade in, a vw touran 1.6tdi se. Its 10 plate and has covered 167k, but well serviced with every invoice from new including 2 cambelt changes, and 4 new injectors a few momths ago. My mate knows nothing about cars and those injectors were a p**s take I would say. I've only done 35 miles I'm it so far, seems to drive well. But I do not think it's a keeper, a couple of months and it will get sold. My mate moved up here from Sheffield just over a year ago so it's not rusty.

I have spied your dads 6 wheeler for sale up in this neck of the woods last week. The garage was shut and no price on it, I'm going to back for a look if it's still there and see what they say the story is. I better watch out I dont come away owning it!

Good to see that you're still on here Davie!

I've always quite liked the Skoda Yeti, very likable and usable cars with a rugged design.
I've had quite a few VW group cars, quite enjoyed them all, but didn't find them any more durable than other brands.

Oh, that's interesting! Whereabouts did you see the C15?

I sold it through Mathewsons Auctions (of Bangers and Cash fame) in August 2021. I met up with the person who bought it when I was up in Aberdeenshire last August. It had been bought by someone who owns a furniture auction house, to use as an advertiser. He said he'd likely keep it for another year or two, but I did then hear about it being parked up with a price in, by someone I know who lives locally. So I'm not sure if it was sold on from there, or if they've still got it.

It was at a wee country garage beside Insch. I'm actually away to head for Aberdeen airport to pick up my son in law. I think I shall go that way and see if it's there.

Yes, that's the same area I went to meet the owner at. I wonder if he's put it with a local garage to advertise it.

Be grateful for a picture if you do pass!

It's not a garage. I passed it last time that I didn't see what it is. I stopped today and had a yap with the owner. He is the same guy you met and he bought it 2 years ago. Its an antique furniture store he runs and he's a car enthusiast and a really nice guy. He is selling the van as he doesn't use it any more. It still looks in phenomenal condition, under the snow that is covering it.

Thanks for the pictures Davie!

I did wonder if it would be at the same place. Good to see it again! The auction was August 2021, so he's had it about 18 months or so. I had a good chat with him when I was up that way and passed on some info about it.

Hopefully it finds a good home and gets the attention it deserves.
