Just watching "Good Omens" on DVD, and in episode 2 there is an H-Van outside a large Gothic building.

I am watching "Dave Allen: The Immaculate Selection" on BBC2, and there has just been a 2CV in a scene (654 GYE).

The Spiral.

As it is French, it is littered with them. A C6 just showed up in series 2.

I might have told this tale before but......
Back in Brum the garage I was working at had a neighbouring business, a battery maker, the boss from there came in telling us that he'd bought a Renault Dauphine a fabulous one owner car with very low mileage and a huge discount.
When we popped out to look over his new toy one of our mechanics said "I've seen that car before." "Can't have." says the new owner, "I bought it direct from the company in London."
Our mechanic goes into the workshop and returns with a copy of Autocar and there on the front page is the very same Dauphine having been loaned to be thrashed about by the trade press. :)
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Just seen the video for Natalie Imbruglia's [:p] new song.
Well thanks Ian D, for your 29 posts from back in 2005 on the FCF including this one, which I have sampled totally at random today.

So eagle eyed FCF members in 2021....what can you see in the video, and where was the location. :?:

Can't help with the location, but curious about the car. Seems to have been perfectly roadworthy (when filming started), but why was the bonnet never closed properly - seems the driver's side latch was not operational?

I was surprised that there were no C5s show up.
Was about to begin series 9 and... nothing, it had ended. Just as my rubbish French was improving.

I had seen the Nathalie Umbrella clip before and forgotten it, and also how good she looks.

There used to be a video of her "Torn" on YouTube, initially signed by a bloke, a spoof.*
Then she came onstage to complete it.
Most would have taken umbrage but she was completely OK with it.

* Found it :)

Tonight (sort of, 1.55 am tomorrow really) Channel 4 is showing "A bigger splash". A film that really does need to be well after the watershed. Features a Mehari several times in its intended seaside setting. (The word Dakota attracted my attention on the cinema poster, disappointing that it turned out to be an actor not an aeroplane).

I have search this thread and am quite confident that the observation has not been brought to the attention of the eagle eyed community.
'The Wife' wanted to watch Meg Ryan in "French Kiss".....again...... anyway not a bad, but predictable, film so I sat there and watched it again, whenever Meg was not around I looked at the vechicles.
Well, during my observatons the XM that is 'borrowed' seems to have a central conventional hand brake, I thought all XM's have the 4th (or 3rd) extra foor pedal as a parking brake. After doing a quick internet search, still none the wiser.

In the 2015 remake of "Hitman 47" there is, early on, an attempted escape scene (in Berlin) where two characters are being driven away in a Citroen CX. Unfortunately their driver is shot and the CX piles into the back of a stationary vehicle.
