Top Gear

In an episode of Top Gear where they test a yellow Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, there is an Xantia parked behind the Lambo!

Image

So despite the Lambo being in the forground I still spotted the Cit! 8-)

The episode is the one where Timothy Spall is on testing the reasonably priced car.

Yes if you want to make the Lambo above move, then drag the bar underneath this sentence to one side, and it will move! 8-)

Sometimes I really miss watching the French TV series called Louis la Brocante.

Here is a short clip from YouTube:

This video has wrong pic ratio (narrower than it should be) and it might be
annoying to watch (part 1/9):

One of the crew in London's Burning had a BX light blue in colour, it's seen in the back of the station in various shots if that crew member was "on the run!"

Another one from London's Burning, which ran for some years, it started as a film, and then turned into a TV series which they used film cameras on.

In Series 3, Episode 2 which was first shown on 7th October 1990.

Maggie who was the cook at Blackwall for bluewatch went for her driving test, and drove a Citroen AX diesel G475 XOP which had a sign on the roof for Inter County.

I'll bet that sign was a target for the modifiers.....

We used to have a fleet of small vans around these parts many years back belonging to a TV rental firm - County Radio.

Those vans suffered modified signage on frequent occasions.

:rofl2:

CitroJim you are living up to that avatar line, or actually that would also apply to the boys that were adapting the van signs!

Those vans and the company must have been more widely known due to this activity.

During the long time the series was on our screens they used to feature real things on it.
When the radio was on at the station obviously music and chat from the DJs could be heard, but also the radio stations call names could be heard, LBC and Capital Radio where two that I heard quite a few times.

Therefore that Inter County might have been a real company name, it did have a phone number on it, but that was out of shot, when the car drove towards the camera, it was a long way away, and it didn't have a number on the back of the magnetic sign, when the car was closer to the camera.

That's great :-D

Indeed :( How ignominious for a poor Xantia to have to wear plates originally from a Vauxhall of all things

Makes me want to get hold of the car and give it a big hug...
