It was a tapper that's only available down here, its called a 'Gert big tapper'

I'm looking forward to getting her back on the road. Driving Ron on Friday will be my first on road drive in a GSA, should keep the enthusiasm topped up for a good while :D

I reckon we should have a Gs-pot, any innuendo whatsoever, we need to put a penny in the pot...whoops :-D

After reading vince's post I realised that I haven't posted up a photo of Annabelle on holiday in Menton in 1985!

Image

When the previous owner sent that to me I was grinning from ear to ear :-D

that is a serious NO NO using that type of car wash,
they not only take the dirt off but scour the paint surface     [-X [-X

although it does remind me of a time many moons gone by when i took my GS estate though one of them orible device's,

a previous owner had fitted a roof aerial which had a built in signal booster and a F*O*R*D badge on it :o  ,

the car wash ripped it clean off and through it across the garage forcourt, obiously knew that brand should not be fitted to a citroen

This may give you an idea of where I've been. There are a few more where this came from, one or two anonymous people took advantage of the situation when the staff's backs were turned...:D

If you're not sure, this photo may point you in the right direction:

A couple more quick photos before I hit the springs.

That's because he's in foreign territory Malcolm and there they drive on the wrong side of the road and go round roundabouts the wrong way.

Many years ago I drove the kids to EuroDisney and even as a little girl Robyn questioned why I was going round roundabout the wrong way...

If that's how a G leans on a roundabout I don't think I'd like that at all, not one little bit. Now, if there was a G Activa...

A very good trip it was :-D

Expect to hear a bit more about the Activa cars from me soon

Jim, a GS rolls nothing like a 2cv or an R4 they are positively flat corners compared to those

I recall there are now bits missing from the 1980s Activa coupe, steering components, missing before we went I will say! Which is why it is not obvious in that picture what turned the wheels. Not to mention it no longer has rear driveshafts.

An awesome car, but I REALY want the 1990s ActivaII Coupe 8-)
