A Corsa 12v, never again, that was my first car.
Franklin's right, Annabelle is the name for a Citroen GSA Club!
It's the blue one in the garage. During the ICCCR I was told about it by a chap in the car club who had gone over it with a fine toothcomb, then I was given some full size A4 photos to 'help' me think about it.
During the evening get togethers GS people were joking around about convoying down with me to have a look, the trouble was that by 4am (we made the most of the nights!) on the last night three started saying 'seriously now, can I come down, I promise to stand back and let you look over it first'.
As they all knew much more about them than me I thought why not.
As we parked up outside her house, the seller walked out and couldn't believe her eyes. It had been years since she had seen another GS and now 3 turned up at once
Here she is. 1981, registered late at the original owners request. And now the exciting bit, you can see the original owner in both of those photos, I will be the second owner!
She's a bit of an enthusiast most of her cars have been Citroens. She currently knocks around in the most immaculate original looking Xantia I have seen in a good while.
The GSA has the 1299cc engine with a 5 speed gearbox and is in fairly good original condition, a small amount of welding needs doing, tyres will want replacing along with a few other bits and pieces over time.
I'm looking forward to getting her back here, she'll be a keeper, along with the XM and Xantia
