Headed down to Cheddar on Friday to spend some time with family and popped by Old-Guy to pick up leather seats and a N/S/R door for Cassy.
Was great to meet you Guy, just wish the weather had been less torrential!
Back home now and have swapped the seats over and the door which looks so much better.

Much better than being a passenger on leather seats! The driver's seat seems to have a bucket that holds me secure.

It is brill to see motoring like that Xac. It begs the question: Is an Xud Xantia all the car a Man will ever need?

I miss that lovely clattery burble !

It is for me :)
Tweakable for that extra bit of power, economical running on veg, easy to maintain, comfortable and stylish, designed for French roads of the 90s so ideal for today's pot hole riddled roads of the UK.
When there are no more good 1.9TDs, I guess I'll have to look for a 110HDi, but being S2 they just don't have the looks in my opinion, and the engine bay isn't as mechanic friendly with the loss of the nuts and bolts holders in the top of the headlights.
The real question is what do we all do once there are no decent Xantias left?

Sadly the salt did for mine.... quite liking the 307 I've got now, but, boy, is it bouncy after a Xantia!!

Ditto. An Activa and a V6 is a winning combination for me :) If I did more miles though an HDi would still be on the fleet.
