Danielle bought the special edition blue ray metal case version, it's ever so clear, but I still can't tell if Flash's voice is dubbed or not :)

Jenny did an admirable job of getting Danielle and I safely to Southport yesterday.
We've got 4 nights in a lovely B&B for the extortionate price of £80 (total)
Never been up here before (closest was Preston uni) but it is lovely, the pier's arcade is reasonably priced for a change, and we've taken the tram to the end of the pier where they have an old penny (1d) arcade which has been great fun.
The tide is about 10 miles out and there are ropes up to stop anyone venturing too far from the shore. Swimming in the sea isn't going to be an option.

When I get back next week I'll have the fun job of removing Jenny's power steering pipe to take to Pleiades for repair.
Hopefully it won't cost a huge amount.

Have you asked for a discount on the hotel costs?
Tell them you are an FCF member - they are sure to be impressed. Might waive the fee altogether :)

With the good weather and having put the front of Juliet up on axle stands, I tackled the fun job of removing the power steering feed pipe today.
I've managed to get all bar one P clamp off the front and side of the pipe.
As it goes over the wheel arch and down the back, it is clamped/clipped there, I couldn't see exactly how.
Unfortunatley, even with the suspension left on low, the back is not sinking, so I can't quite get under enough to reach the pinion valve and remove that end of the pipe.
Most of the length around the wheel arch is rusty, I wonder if Plaedes can cut it and either braze a new piece of kunfer on or make up a union, or once the pipe is fully off, it turns out most of it is superficial and a clean up and repaint will do, so only the hole needs to be repaired.
Unfortunatley Danielle has a spray tan booked for 4pm on special offer (nothing Towie, but a sublte tan as she's just been diagnosed as having severe anemia, borderline blood transfusion level! So she's got to get some iron tablets and be tested in another month) so that's stopped play and to be honest, I'm not totally over my man flu so I'm feeling shattered.
Hopefully tomorrow will have nice weather and I can get the pipe off.

Good work so far :)

If it were me given the relative cheap cost of pipe and the PITA factor of replacing it i'd ask Martin to replace anything that is suspect.

With a fresh set of eyes and hands you'll get that pipe off today :P

Also, the back will not come down for months now the Anti-sink valve will have isolated the HC so any change on the HC via the rod nor ARB will affect the height

This often worked for me

The pipe up to the chassis rail is P-clipped and from thee on I believe just plastic clips but I reckon you'll have missed one or maybe two P-Clips. They do hide well

If you are going to give it another go later today, give me a buzz. I can do nothing as I'm totally wrecked today but I can advise and pop over in my mobility scooter...

What a lovely afternoon :)
I called Jim and he said he'd pop over to lend some moral support, so imaging my disappointment when Chris turned up instead ;)
About 4 years later, Jim finally turned up, despite having a shorter distance to travel, which either means Jim's a slow driver, or Chris is rather heavy with his right foot :D
Chris also brought Liam to complete the set.
We had a cup of tea and I dived under Juliet to complete the task of removing the broken pipe.
With Chris handing me tools as and when I needed them, I made short work of the task and the pipe was free, well, free but still in situe.
In trying to navigate it out from the wheel arch, it snapped in two which made things much easier.
While I was doing that, Liam and Chris swapped over Jenny's bonnet with an undamaged one (Jenny's original had a stone chip about the size of 1p right at the tip).
Thank you so much guys for your help today, it made such a difference! :)
