Today I took a rather long lunch and headed over to Oxford street to buy something special for Danielle.
I emailed her to see if she fancied going out for a meal tonight and initially she was up for it, but her office heating has been on overdrive so by the time she got home she really wasn't feeling well enough.
So when I got home, in the kitchen, I got down on one knee and proposed.
As insanity runs in her family, she said yes \:D/
Thankfully I could use the kitchen worktops to get back up again :D

Excellent news :D

Well done Xac!

How about a nice Xantia V6 as the wedding car?

Sorry Steve, I'd want Danielle to arrive in style so a Xantia it would be ;)

Jim, we were talking last night about asking you :)

In other news, plaeides replaced the leaking and very brittle through age o-ring on Cassy's pump, and suspect a lazy pump on Juliet and maybe rear hydractive valve issues.
Was going to get Cassy back on the road tonight but instead of MK, work have sent me to Coventry!

Congrats, Xac.

That's the easy bit over with, now you're just got to put up with n months of wedding planning, and then there's the hard bit - the next 40+ years

That's the easy bit, MK registry office and then the Bell Inn & Hotel in woburn for the receptoin (50 guests with glass of wine, glass for the toast, 3 courses and an evening disco - £999 - I love Danielle and her nose for bargains!).
Cake from Asda or M&S (apparently a Costco cake isn't good enough)

Danielle's got the hard job of putting up with me for the rest of our lives :D
