Yep, it's a pump-off job. And an armour-off job as well

I have a seal set and will happily do the job for you Xac but one thing I will not do for all the ducks in the river Lovat is to do the dearmouring bit.
Pro-tem I can lend you a fully mechanical pump whilst we do yours.
For reasons that will soon be revealed, I am currently very heavily committed to things that will impact my time. Hence for apparantly being a bit quiet on here recently... Much is going on behind the scenes though.

Well, I'm free for the foreseable future as of Monday so I've got plenty of time to get things sorted.CitroJim wrote:We can always borrow the pump off the LX Xac. And you know the immobiliser code for it.
You'll need a puller...
Having the pump off would make changing the glow plugs easier, and it'll give me a chance to put the bolt into the induction pipe bracket to stop it rattling

Actually, I have an idea for getting Juliet back on the road with her exhaust.
Just need to find somewhere that can chop the longer connection pipe off the front of the old exhaust and weld it in place on the new one.

Well, I have some good news.
After fitting the right pipe rather than the hose pipe which the jubilee clip just wouldn't seal properly at the pump, my power steering troubles have gone (time to check Juliet's pipe as her steering is heavy unless the revs are above idle).
Also, there's no puddle under Cassy, so I'm thinking that rather than it being veg pouring out of the leaking pump (which is definitely leaking), it was actually LHM running down the back of the HP, mixing with the veg and dripping all over the road.
