It was a cheapy for £20, cant remember the make but they used to make performance systems with them, its a straight through box and make a lovely refined noise with plenty of pops on the gearchange and over-run.

Wheel refurbs are £40 for FCF members £45 trade and £50 retail...

The cheapest job you will find (usually up north) is about £25 per wheel, price quoted is £40 per wheel, if you want the set doing for £40 i can always throw on some silver rattle can and get some free paint on the tyres aswell

Could it refer to a telephone engineer racing around the Isle of Man?

Sid, you'd not have said that if you had seen the car a year ago  It used to be my Activa and it was cosmetically very scruffy, not unlike my V6 is now. I did the mechanical work on it and then Gareth took it on and really and utterly transformed the car.

It looks even better in the metal. It is possibly the most gorgeous Activa in the country and makes my red Activa look decidedly dowdy...

All credit to Gareth on this. I barely recognise it as my old car now!

Still looks just like mine Gareth. Well, mine's the same colour anyway... Actually that's about as far as it goes!

I need to find someone local in a similar trade to yourself to take care of some chips on the bonnet. Some is bare, and some has been 'touched up' in a very poor way. :(

James

[Looks wonderful BTW. Although I'm not sure if the boot badge is a good idea or not!]
