You need to fix your avatar to reflect that JimCitroJim wrote:Bet it felt good as well GarethXantiaMan583 wrote:Drove the Activa this weekend first time in 3 weeks, just thought i would mention it.![]()
I've been running around in mine these past few days; mine has been criminally under-used this year![]()

As ever i talk about performance which is something it lacks as standard, i have noticed a vast difference in how it went from Saturday to Sunday when there was a big temperature difference. I may consider water injection for it, simple to install and will drop my inlet temperatures and allow a bit more ignition advance, offsetting any slight bhp drop from the water in the charge. Fitting a bigger intercooler would be time consuming, difficult and expensive and not in keeping with the cars subtle nature.
I gave it a wash as weeks of cat paw prints and dust made it look quite untidy, i still love the colour when the sun hits it.
Its pretty much as i want it, will be needing new front tyres, oil change, clutch maybe but its holding ok at the moment. MOT due November which it should sail through.
More importantly i need to sort Jim out with some bodywork on his V6 and Activa, but work is still coming in strong and weekends usually reserved for family, running out of time this year!

That thought has floated across my horizon many times Andrew, especially as I so wanted one when I first started driving...andmcit wrote:Or how about a GS 1222...![]()
that'd be right on your wavelength Jim!
And it'll nicely fit on my drive too

Maybe in a while....
I'd love a CX 2.5GTi Will but I have to think of the space I have available. They're a seriously long car and a GS is nice and short!

Sorry Gareth

Glad to hear that the Activa is still going strong

You almost want one of those car cover things to save the Activa getting too dirty. Though saying that if the cats round your area are anything like ours they will enjoy playing around and hiding under them
