WOW! What a weekend and show, and it DIDN'T rain!

First CCC show I've been too, and it won't be the last.
Far too much to see and take in one outing, especially when you get talking to the obviously and rightly very proud loving owners.
Probably the best classic car show I've been to tbh. Being all Citroen helped.

Good to meet a couple of the lads in here too. Shame I didn't realise that I could have placed my car amongst all the other members Xantias on show until late afternoon.

Bought myself a large plastic genuine 'official Citroen accessorie' AX model....another one to gather dust on, according to Mrs C.J.

As for the dog rescue next door, just as predicted, the missus and daughter went there, and of course she came back PLEADING with me to come and have a look at a Springer Spaniel she'd fallen in love with, looking for a caring home. I JUST resisted, but the pressure is still on. :(

Anyway, who's organising the trip to the Paris museum now then?
Count me in....looking for somewhere different to go this summer.

Happy birthday for Friday Gareth :D It's mine in a couple of weeks....

We need to think of a sensible way of identifying ourselves at this meet...

Any thoughts anyone?
It was mine too, mind you I was in no fit state to drive! :D

A great day all round, excluding the sunburn! A great collection of cars and the gold XAN71A was stunning and deserved to win, mind you I was chuffed I won the BX award 8).

Happy birthday Tim :D

Your BX was a well deserving winner. I have a photo of it at home and later I'll pop it up so all can see the shinyest BX I've ever seen.

Richard's Xantia is something rather special..

It really was a great day, thoroughly enjoyed :D

Really enjoyed it too, that sun did take us by surprise! I'm totally red armed complete with watch line on one arm and 'T shirt lines'

I loved the BX GT! and the very early 16TRS too - turned out to be a local car to me, I knew I'd seen it before albeit about 10 years back - still same owner too.

Was good to meet new folks (mostly off the BX forum) It was also my first so I'd go back but next time I'll set out earlier on the Saturday and bring more beer.
