Multi-spoke wheels would look good on a Xantia, again the tyre profile has to be right not just for the rolling radius but also the look and the ride. In that above picture the tyre profile looks too skinny and the wheel design is just not suited to the Xantia, IMO.

Something like this, but with a flatter face, and with the correct offset, front looks all wrong -

They are certainly a lot better - I would be happy with them.

The 'open' wheels look OK on their own but out of place on most cars - the view of the hub through them spoils the effect if you don't go to the trouble of getting it chromed or suitably painted, and polish up the calipers. Looks like a dog's breakfast on some cars as it reveals all the dangly pipes and cables, sometimes even the exhaust, makes a mockery of your investment as the car looks no better for it.

I have 205 1.9 gti alloys on my 1.9td with 195/55/15's and they have transformed the handling, alright its not as floaty smooth as before but now it feels much more like my old bx tzd......smashing
Ideally i would like a nice set of 16" motorsport type wheels, but hey thats just me.....i haven't even got a spoiler on mine!!!!!
