Looking great Vince.

If that's the same bit of road I'm thinking of Jim it certainly is badly surfaced! When we was at Chris' I remember him saying that if we weren't doing at least 60MPH down it we weren't trying...

Sorry Paul, they're not up for grabs unless a particularly large sum of money was offered  If you do need anything scanned though, let me know.

I would love a V6 Xm Paul but I'm not in a position at the moment to take another car on as we have four at the minute , the Zx is a long term keeper as it really is a beauty and my Fiat Doblo serves me well for loading up with tools/materials , thanks for the offer .

Come on now Paul, you probably now know more than the manuals actually do!
The wiring diagrams are usually great but only if you have LHD too! lol ;)

I've got a spread of RHD 605 wiring diagrams; these mostly cross to the XM.

Well guys have a look at the time of this post (its actually 12:15, the forum clock is out by an hour)....ive just got home from finishing the series 2 xm refinishing job i took on in return for the mechanical work Paul didnt charge me for at Paris Autos.....

I started it at 6:30pm and got done for 11:45pm......a hard evenings work indeed  especially after doing an 8:00 till 6:00 shift at work.

It was in good condition underneath the somewhat washed out and faded appearance it was wearing, Paul has said he can get me loads of work to do like this if he is happy with the job i do on his...Im sure he is going to be very happy....i am happy with it and im a fussy bugger

Ill stick some pics up tomorrow if i can.

Hope it isnt raining in the morning when i take it back down to the garage :)

Im off to bed, im whacked !

Sounds like it was worth it though, you'll soon be able to afford to run the car exclusively on V Power diesel

Looking forward to the pics 8-)

On the forum time, its set per user. Go into the 'User Control Panel' at the top then the 'Board Preferences' tab. In there you can change the timezone and daylight saving options.

Thanks guys, Will tomorrow is not a good day and im off next week so saturday i will be on the road. Ive had head office all over me the last couple of days so i have so much to get done tomorrow ready for me week off i simply wouldnt have time to speak to anyone im afraid :(

Yes the sideline is going ok. I have a guy who is calling me when i get back off holiday, he and a friend both have classic saab 900's which they want me to have a look at and sort out for them...i always liked the old saab's so they would be nice cars to do

Here are some pictures of the series 2 xm i did last night. Being silver it robs some of the true finish on pictures, but these are all after shots, didnt have time for before shots. It was faded as stated and also a nice amount of moss growing in all the orifices :|
