We had a Fraud Sierra before that  The one with the DOHC Pinto engine in it. What a nail. Got rid of it as it would not tow the 'van adequately. In fact it was rubbish. The Chavalier actually was a pretty fair towcar, strangely enough...

All of them were SWMBO's cars really and mostly. I only ever drove them when there was towing of caravans to be done :)

For my own transport I had a Citroen AX 11TGE in bright metallic blue. Brilliant little car. I loved it to bits :P It used to have two baby seats in the back. I never needed a bloody great SUV to ferry the girls around when they were little - the AX did proud. There was even room in the boot for a Maclaren buggy :-D

As I say, the AX was a brilliant little car :P

Sorry guys ive just tried again, photobucket must be down ive tried everything and it just wont link

Ive managed to get the dash "door open and check brake lights" small display working...although it went off again last night so clearly a connection issue. and also the electric windows worked yesterday then didnt for 30 mins or so and then now are ok again

I can see me having to dismantle things and make sure they have good connections and then build them back up again. Oh well, its nothing i didnt expect to have to do...still drives well which is the main thing :)

Ill try pics again tonight see if Photobucket has sorted its life out yet

Under the circumstances Vince, very understandable

Have you deleted any of your photo's from your potatobucket album Vince - that screws things up rather well.
You will need to relink all your images if you have.

Ikea is my favourite shop, always calm and relaxed. Always have the meatballs and new spuds too, can't go wrong :)

True. I love their food and yes, relaxed it is but on a weekend it's going to be a seething mass of the great unwashed who have neither the wit nor imagination to occupy themselves with anything better than cluttering up shops. Therefore best avoided.

Best time to visit the place, any place really, is in the week when the aforementioned hygienically challenged people are otherwise occupied. Evening seems OK whilst they're all busy watching their soaps on the one-eyed monster.

I don't do crowds

There's so much good furniture ten, twenty, even thirty years old - it beats me why people want everything new from the shops.

Then again, I hate spending money on anything other than cars (incl. tools, polishes, etc), petrol and building supplies for my own place. I'm through with beating my brains with liquor and drugs. Even food money is often a grudging spend... It is cheaper to be vegetarian, though!

Here's Vince's pictures, it's the forum filter working its magic on the word 'Citroen'.
