That BX looks in loveyl condition....they are both nice shades of blue....i was once offered an old Peugeot 505 diesel in a similar colour to the bx...it was unfortunately poor timing as i was into old cerman cars at the time....looking back it was one hell of a bargain and no rust neither....

ahhh the ones you pass by

More of the XM...its a dutch one it seems.

I saw 3 Olympic blue Xms in one place a few weeks ago! Lovely colour.

Vince, the XM will be no worse than the Hydractive Xantia. Dean has covered all bases, but I would add that it is worth checking the cooling fan operation. The relays are above the headlamps on the slam panels and corrosion here is a problem giving poor contacts.

Otherwise its all much the same. You'll notice some difference between the XM and the Xantia, mainly the size of it all. The Xm is a lot bigger inside.

Rust is the biggest problem we are up against. Xantias are heading the same way. Give it some time.

On the flip side, the XM is easier to work on! More room for starts.

ABS (which Paul's car won't have) isn't difficult to fix either.

That's going to be tricky too :( I'm on notice I'll be loosing my off-site space at Christmas and I may have to re-think then anyway... I may well have to drop to two cars :( The V6 may be up for grabs. Rattiva and Activa are the keepers for me...

Still, when I'm in Machynlleth I'll make sure I have all the room I need to stable a fair collection

Precisely my plan!!! :-D :-D Machynlleth IS in Wales.... And that's my intention as soon as I can retire and the girls aren't costing me as much as they do now...
