For those ie me who have never bought a tin of bumper snot and never used it...let's have a picture of the tin :-D
The Micra has already had its day out, but its wing mirrors could benefit from a bit of 'snot.

I will indeed Neil, I've just been advised she's 40 minutes away... I'm here waiting like an expectant father

I will post photos of her arrival as soon as... I'll only see her for a short while before I set off in Polly to take her ex-owner home and then carry on to a destination in Somerset with a consignment of Xantia spares... The ex-owner lives in Wiltshire, very much on my way, and it's confirmed he's now the owner of a Bijou project :)

This one in fact:
Via the CCC Faceache Group
Via the CCC Faceache Group
They were built in Slough and based on 2CV underpinnings and mechanicals...

I'm looking forward to hearing all about it on the trip to Wiltshire...

I know that your garage is a TARDIS, but I think that Bluebell may feel a little bit left out (side).

I sense a carport in the offing before the new neighbours move in! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

One that is wide enough to prevent a caravan/motor-home being parked on the drive :)

Discussed with the neighbours and they're content :-D

I've had a good look at the new arrival (still debating her name but Strawberry is finding some favour) this afternoon and I'm very happy with what I find :-D

Potentially I can make her very, very good with some (mainly cosmetic) work. All the ingredients are there.

She runs beautifully, feels very tight and all evidence suggests her recorded mileage may be correct.

Even the choke warning light works!

The interior is in excellent condition...

She is so 'poverty spec', a true base-model and very charming for it :) She has two options fitted - a dealer-fit sunroof and a rear wash-wipe!

No radio is fitted and instead there's a cubby hole where the radio would go. She does have speakers and an aerial though...

Being so basic, she makes Bluebell look positively decadent

Do just make sure there aren't any planning implications.

Bearing in mind we've just had planning permission denied for the fence along the side of our garden.

You *should* be okay I think as it wouldn't be forward of your front elevation.

Don't think I've seen an AX dash that doesn't even have the clock before!

A number of properties around here have carports Zel so hopefully no issues but I will carefully check.

Only the higher specc'd S1 AX had a clock... Remember this is an E, the basest of base models!

Having mentioned the Falcon personal view on car naming, which I know you don't share :-D ...I was going to suggest running your proposed name for the Red AX past Autumn for a second opinion before it got too out of hand! :-D Looks like your word of the day post today may suggest that it is too late, and the name is developing a life of its own if I have made the link correctly.... viewtopic.php?p=807931#p807931

Ahh well, Autumn would approve as she loves strawberries. Back in June she visited me and I taught her how to pick fresh strawberries in my garden and eat them straight off the plant... A few days ago she visited again, made a bee-line for my garden and was so disappointed to find no ripe strawberries as the season for my crop had ended :(

She also adores blueberries...

The good news is that Autumn is just back home again after being in hospital for a few days with a bad chest infection and needing supplemental oxygen... Happily, she's well on the road to recovery :D

She's going to be mighty confused when she looks in my garage next visit (she always likes looking in there) and seeing my blue car has turned red!

Northumberland wild strawberries are still cropping at Chez Falcon. They get pretty rampant once they get a foothold and plants now spring up in every little nook and cranny.
