But we duathletes are made of tough stuff... Never has a bit if wind, rain and mud ever bothered us :)
I used to be a pentathlete, football, cricket, golf, tenpin bowling and table tennis. (Ignoring the motorsports) But as you get older you gain extra things along the way which tend to reduce your abilities. The worst thing I have gained is a letter 'S'. :

No, just very busy with various things that have conspired to keep me away from here for a while... Most of no great interest - mainly tedious admin work and hard training for the weekend's activities...

One activity I'm currently up to might be of some interest. It's automotive and electronic. I'll save that for later - likely next week now as this weekend is likely to be a fairly epic one ;)

I'm going to say BX it's only a guess because (I can't read the laptop screen  ) and I only had mine for a couple of months - sold to me by my B-I-L with an undisclosed cracked head (only appeared on a long run :^o ).

I'll go a couple up from the BX and try an XM, there's a feeling of vague familiarity about it? :)

They may well have appeared in the BX Skull as it's a Citroen branded Clarion. This one is from the Series 1 XM so you are quite correct on this occasion Mick :D

The problem is the usual, radio OK but very low volume on tape. A common problem it seems. Conventional wisdom usually points to a problem with the Dolby module that does both the tape head preamp and noise reduction functions. I'm now doing all I can to confirm/eliminate that module as the cause. There are absolutely no details available for this module and no spares available. I have three of these radios, all with the same fundamental problem.

It is imperative this unit is made to work again so I may have to get creative ;)

I don't recall fitting any Clarion units in BXs when I worked at BCC. One of the things us apprentices got dumped with was doing PDIs - fitting the optional stuff, stereos, number plates etc
