I should point out that my guitar is classical my playing most certainly is not!! Last time I picked it up I couldn't remember anything except Greensleeves!! Sad or what? (I play the clarinet too and mess about on my electric piano but the only way I could fill a village church hall would be to play in the YMCA!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

You haven't been at Jim's when he's playing 'Paranoid'.

Actually, I'm best when pretending to be Hank Marvin and trying to not mangle a few Shadows classics too much...

We have percussion with Steve's triangle so that just leaves vocals... That gig's got your name all over it Ryan ;)

Many years ago I learned to play on the linoleum. I became quite good at it in the end. :)

A chap I knew at BT may be useful. He left BT and went to sea with Cunard. He didn't stay long because they were too stuffy but now he's well established on P&O. :sulk:

I'm in my 40's now and none of me or my siblings even had car seats - I can remember the four of us kids, sat shoulder to shoulder in the back of Dads Fiat 126.... with people starting down at us from cars that pulled along side at the traffic lights

There would only have been two seatbelts, so goodness knows if we wore them or not... :?

Four of you on the back seat of a Fiat 126 was essentially a child restraint anyway Chris - no way you were going anywhere, being jammed in so tightly

My two had very rudimentary car seats when they were little and I used to happily ferry them around in my AX. Both their seats on the back seat loosely (at best) secured by seat belts... They used to slide around when cornering, much to the girl's delight!

And as soon as they were big enough to not need them and could (sort-of) wear adult seatbelts the car seats were never seen again. They never had boosters...

Things are very different nowadays and I now 'get' why parents need such big cars. When mine were little they had the aforementioned basic car seats and Maclaren buggies that would happily fold up and fit an AX boot with ease. Nowadays, Autumn's mum's Clio is tight on space, both for the car seat and Autumn's buggy which has to have a wheel removed before it'll just squeeze into the boot... Getting her seat and buggy along with all the rest of the baby paraphernalia in and out of her car is a right pain.

My Picasso is absolutely brilliant for the job. Acres of space everywhere... A baby carrier par excellence :D

Although Robyn and her sister practically grew up in an AX and emerged largely unscathed, there's no way Robyn will allow me to take Autumn anywhere in my current AX...

How times change

Remember buying child seatbelts from Mothercare before safety seats for kids were a thing. Youngest got a safety seat, she is 39.
