I can completely concur with your experience with the Diagbox/Lexia download fiasco... I had to do the same. What a pain it is, and downloading files that big is never fun as if your WiFi drops out the download sometimes has to be restarted...

Yep, that was the worst part by far Chris and after that, unzipping and unRAR'ing just took time. WinRAR threw a warning but it didn't look serious and I pressed on.

The VMWare player took several decades to install on my slow laptop and after that it ran up the Diagbox image fine. The Interface connected to the VM and all looked good. I got this

So far, so good

I always download big files when needed by plugging in a Cat 6 cable and maintaining hardwire connection to the internet (including fibre optic I know ). Works for me!!

That's top advice Mick I'd have done the same but I ripped out all my Cat5E as part of the rewire and now only have wireless... Silly me!

If it's like mine, when you get it installed it is a big "buggy" and some errors come up on the virtual computer that you just close. But it seems to work well.

Yes, Diagbox 9.91 does seem a bit flaky and it took several attempts before it was happy to talk to my car. Seems it wants the VIN first before selecting the car.

I've not seen the update nags yet but as a precaution I disconnected the wireless. I don't believe the software is wonderfully high-quality... It deserves your 'dogbox' sobriquet

After a bit of faffing, up it came... No faults

I've seem that one on the metal Neil, when I visited the Citroen Conservatoire It's awesome and should definitely have been produced, as should the Citroen Activa and may other brilliant concepts, not least yours Chris... As a convertible, they look stunning Such a shame and a missed opportunity

That genuinely happened to me once... I had left the handbrake off

In my defence it had been some time since I had driven a car without an electric parkbrake...

The car went across our street and into the neighbours fence...

Looks like you got the same Lexia I did Jim, it's a terrible faff to install if not computer literet,I'm not that computer literet, so needed my son's help with the usual 'Oh really Dad, tut' reply but once it was installed it's great. Just ignore the updates and connection to internet interuptions. (Asking a 14yr old for help ain't easy)

Thank goodness we have youngsters in our lives who can help us with things like this Ryan I have no trouble asking my kids... In fact my parent/child relationship has almost come full circle - they look after me much more than I do them!

I'm rapidly getting back to normal physically but my mental health remains rather poor... Yesterday I really enjoyed being back at a fun-filled Junior parkrun gigglefest in a minor volunteer role concomitant with my mental abilities and then I went for a magical run in the pouring rain I bumped into a couple of good friends at around 5 miles:
