Looking smart Jim! That's a bit of a departure; you're going to have to update your Elite somewhat  What engine is in it?

I don't think they do an ELIT ROM cartridge for a C3 Pic Richard  Looks like I'll need to bite the bullet and get what I'll need. I need to research and catch up with this subject...

It's a 1.6HDi. Stated to be a Blue HDi but I cannot find anywhere to fill it with Adblue or even that it needs it :? It's a Blue HDi Platinum and is ULEZ compliant. Platinum seems to be a trim level and it's certainly nicely trimmed with a nice selection of toys.

I was looking for a petrol but I did not want a 1.2 Puretech and its wet cambelt under any circumstances and all the 1.6 petrols seem to have EGS gearboxes and I really did not fancy one of those either so I had to go diesel.

So far I've driven Polly about 100 miles on all sorts of roads from heavy rush-hour city to motorway and she's great. Still lots to learn about her... No time yesterday as I needed to rush back to marshal at the final bike racing event of the season at the MK Bowl...

The only thing that's taking a bit of getting used to is the digital speedo.

I had a bit of a surprise when I taxed her. She should be £20 a year but DVLA charged me £0.00 :-D I'm happy with that!

Today I'll learn more about her and see just how many bikes I can squeeze into her - the primary reason I got her... She has a very impressive load area once the back seats are down :)

I bought her from a big Stellantis main-dealer and the service I received from start to end and in every way was way beyond excellent... Did the deal at 12:30 and drove it off the forecourt at 17:00 same day...

Ad blue under the spare wheel seemingly!

Worth a check that the second small cap looks like the one in this vid - some early ones were fitted with a solid cap which can cause tank vacuum issues.

Thanks Richard, just looked in the handbook and location confirmed. I will check it today...

And get some Adblue in stock. This is new territory for me. The learning curve has commenced!

It should have been filled by the dealer under the PDI, but.... It's best not to keep it as it does have an expiry date, and you probably won't use much - 10 litres in our C4 Picasso does 8k+ miles, so best just to wait till the warning light comes on, then shove 10l in.

Just don't spill it! It's a generic product, so can get it anywhere, supermarkets, Eurocarparts, etc.

Think it gets a refill fairly often (1500 miles from memory) - my dad had a 1.6 BlueHDi Space Tourer (then a petrol and most recently an electric Berlingo)

When I bought daughter's C3 for her a couple of months ago I was told that the tax was £30 but it turned out to be free too.

Thanks for all the Adblue info :) It gives a 1500 mile warning so that will give me loads of time to get some..

Odd about the tax cost... Not that I'm complaining..

Polly will soon be wearing my cherished plate... Testing the fit...

Very true Ryan 👍 I think the Picasso is misnamed.. It should really be called a Citroen Tardis, given how it seems bigger on the inside than the outside 😉🤣
