Well done Jim, I'm sure you recovery is in no small part due to your fitness, keep it up.

I can't turn my head round but that's due to old age and arthritis :? I have got quite good at reversing using the mirrors though 8-)

Thanks Peter, I surely will :D

No bike ride today, except a short session on Zwift, but I did go for along walk withy Robyn today and bagged what I think may be my favourite pictures of Daffodil with Robyn :D

Spending time with Robyn out in the great outdoors was just what the doctor (or nurse perhaps) ordered :D We'd not seen each other for weeks and had a lot of catching up to do...

Looks like you're the only one out of bed this morning Jim - I see you've responded to 7 different threads and not a peep out of anyone else! :-D

Apologies...an FCF tangent....that reminded me of the proverb
"Early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise."
Has its roots in the Book of St Albans printed in 1486, which has appeared on this forum before as the origins of "A Kestrel for a Knave" which was the title of the book on which the 1970's film "Kes" was based.
Book of St Albans 1486 (The Book of Saint Albans (or Boke of Seynt Albans) is the common title of a book printed in 1486 that is a compilation of matters relating to the interests of the time of a gentleman.)

I'm always up early :) Usually between 03:30 and 04:00. If I can stay asleep until 04:30 I consider it a lie-in  Just can't sleep beyond those times... I do sleep well and get my hours in and I do indeed go to bed early - my day is time-shifted :)

I'm at my best mentally early in the morning and hence why I spend time on here then.. At this end of the day (typing this at 17:45) I'm well below par and not very bright at all

Interesting stuff Neil :D I always like to know the origin of these old sayings...

I may be healthy but the other two are in some considerable doubt

Well Jim it's obviously most important to be helthy, but perhaps you're zely as well?

‘Zely’ here is what has come down to us from Middle English as ‘silly’. Whilst now it has several meanings, and predominantly ones with connotations of humour and foolishness, in 1486 it meant something closer to auspicious, or fortunate.

I think either fits our Jim :-D
