Well done Jim! I am actually trying to reply to your e-mither at the moment, and have been for about 3 days but I’m having a massive mental block!

My dear little Daffodil
As snug as a bug in a rug in her nice warm garage
I fired her up today... She started instantly and runs like a well-oiled Swiss watch
All my other cars received a quick service too, along with my bikes. All are good and happy

Re: Citrojim's AX, Saxo, Pixo, Running and Cycling Tales
Delighted to receive this medal for completing the Cyprus International 4-Day Virtual Running Challenge
And not only that, I also won a £10 Amazon voucher for submitting the best pictures of my running in this event
Next year I plan to travel to Cyprus to run it for real
In car news, I replaced the failing battery on Robyn's C1 today and then we walked miles all around Paggers delivering Christmas gifts to all of her Girl Guides... A supremely lovely way to spend an afternoon!
I recorded 32,000 steps today after running nearly 10 miles and then walking with Robyn! Not only that, we also did some more walking earlier to recce my Marshal Point for the MK Winter Half Marathon on Saturday... I'm running it on Sunday...

An awesome run early on this stunningly beautiful morning
There is something positively magical about running very early on a clear, crisp, dry, quiet and still winter morning with just a few streetlights and your head torch to guide you on your way and before the great unwashed are even awake

An utterly awesome MK Winter Half Marathon today
?
One of the best and most enjoyable half marathons I've ever run
Absolutely loved it, truly magical
The wooden medal is ace
And today is day 90 of my run streak and my 12th half marathon over 12 consecutive weekends
On the car front, nothing to report!

No, neither the shoes or the cake are responsible... The real secret to my speed is chasing after attractive and shapely young lady runners in front of me

Does this mean that your local speed bump installation engineer has an attractive and shapely daughter?

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

If he does, she'll be all tucked up in bed when I run bymickthemaverick wrote: 14 Dec 2020, 13:58 Does this mean that your local speed bump installation engineer has an attractive and shapely daughter?![]()

This morning during my run I saw a Geminid meteor shoot across the sky

Not seen a shooting star for years now despite all the time I spend running under dark skies so today's sighting was a bit special...
