From the picture it is clear I really don't wear a tie or a formal shirt very well at all - which is why I don't, except on such auspicious occasions as this...

My choice of tie was difficult... I was tempted to wear this one....

I only possess three ties... This one, a black one and the one I wore yesterday!

I am much the same Jim. I'm not sure of the logic of tieing a piece of material around one's neck to look smarter!

You scrub up well though!

I was not a well person back in those days Mike... Looking at photos from back along that time I really do look terrible. That you can make such a comment really does mean my hard-fought quest to regain health and fitness has been a success :D

A big smile sits on my face - again!

Just checked the auxiliary belt tensioner on the Pug of Love. It was rattling a bit last time I drove the car. It's no longer rattling now but it's clear watching the belt at idle it's not 100% happy... Not to my mind anyway...

It's got some lateral play in it but is in no danger of failing...

I don't 100% trust it though. It's OK for local use but for any longer journeys it'll be Gabriel who does them...

I looked into getting a new one and find they're over £100! Luckily, as it's only the pulley bearing there's a mob in Lithuania who sells just the pulley and bearing for a more reasonable £15 on fleabay... One is on order...

I gave both the Activa and Gabriel a good check-over this morning and all is happy with both of them. Neither are so bloody needy as that little 207

Is that a new bike Jim? I don't remember seeing it. Looks like a 2 wheeled stealth bomber.

New'ish James... I bought it in January... A special treat to myself and a little spend of dad's legacy ;)

It's a heck of a bike... A Giant TCR Pro 0 with carbon wheels, tubeless tyres, Dura-Ace groupset and very little weight...

I love it to bits :)

It's a cracker of a bike...
