I'm a bit careless and clumsy with them so a phone is in dangerous territory. Does come into play occasionally but only when I am static - but then I'm usually close to a stereo anyway.

May I advise all forum members not to buy a cheap MP3 player. Mine got wet, and shrunk!;

Actually it was a present from my cousin, and it has (for its' size) very good audio output (not loud, but clean). It gets regular usage, and has 8GB storage (which, for its' age, is very good).

A great album you're listening to there James :D

I like them small. The smaller the better for me... That one is getting about the limit of big for me...

No, small in everything is beautiful in my book. Size and function are in no way inter-dependant.

Maybe because I'm not exactly big myself...

I detest large, unwieldy, bulky, fat, lardy and obese things and is one reason I so dislike modern cars amongst other things that have tended to get large and bulky over the years....

Who wants Lardy Large, not me.

But if it requires either interaction, touching or viewing to use then there is a minimum size or the item becomes compromised if to small.

Tiny keys on a mobile phone for example ?

It's the exceptions that proves the rules Alasdair ;) Again, when you have little girly hands like me it's not a problem :D

I've got quite big clumsy hands but never had a problem typing on a blackberry with a real keyboard. It's much harder on these newfangled Samsung Android things with touch screens even though the keys are bigger.

Then live with a device that supplied limited information in a format that is hard to follow when driving (by changing your glasses when driving ? ), like Track.1 track.2 track.3, I will stick with my Album covers etc as that is safer to use on the move than reading text and be able to carry all of my music as well as using it as a hard drive etc via USB. I maintain text is a terrible format to use when driving, very distracting.

My old phone was similar to that one and I found it very easy to use. The new, touch-screen one is a nightmare.
