Watched this last night:
BBC iPlayer, "Inside the Factory: Series 2: 4. Bicycles" 59mins 29 days left
Mostly centred on Brompton cycles, now in new brand factory in Greenford.
Not exactly racing cycle stuff, but lightweight-interesting nevertheless . . . and they're all hand-built!

On the general subject of bike racing and our recent wonderful successes in the Olympics a good background to why we are now so successful can be found in the recently published Autobiography of Chris Boardman. It's a cracking read, even if you are not too interested in bike racing...

Poor JamesHell Razor5543 wrote: Erm, here we go again!
I'm happy to report this week has seen quite a good improvement in my health. I've managed a full three days at work this week and not feeling too bad even now but I must confess to being a bit tired...
All I know is that I'm feeling an order of magnitude better now than I have for a good three weeks in the past...
Not pushing it though... Just taking life easy and letting nature take its course...

Re: Citrojim's Xantia V6, C1 and Activa Tales
Over two runs to Somerset my C1 has averaged 71mpg
That's by careful driving and no exceeding 50mph. I'm really quite delighted....

Interesting, actually seeing the book figure! Never managed to get further than high 50s out of my 107 even when really trying.

Maybe it's the later engine mine has Zel...
Same again today, the first 'bar' went out at 149.8 miles and that was with a big load (for a C1) on board too..
