If they let me have a visa for entry into Yorkshire and it doesn't clash with any Karate grading then yes, I certainly will be Mark :)

I really quite fancy a campervan based on a Visa Malcolm

I wonder if Mr. Harker has one of those?

It's been a gorgeous day down here today and I had thoughts about giving the V6 and the C1 a much-needed wash but after realising how cold it still was in the shade and that my hose pipe was frozen I wimped out..

Instead I gave the V6 a good check over and a warm-up run around my test route and then came back and gave the C1 an oil and filter change...

A very easy job indeed.

Despite the mayo in the very top of the engine and the dipstick tube the oil itself was clean and free of cream...

That's it's first oil change. The C1 has now done nearly 2500 miles...

Now back to working on a resilient database solution for the forum...

My old 2.0hdi dispatch used to suffer condensation build up Jim in the oil fill cap, the berlingo isn't too bad though for some reason.

Shaun's 107 has done 9000 miles in 4 months! It's due it's first MOT shortly and has an extended peugeot warranty starting on its 3rd birthday. It's in need of two tyres and a service. He is putting it to the Peugeot dealer he bought it from. They have a deal on just now, an intermediate service and mot for £119. The service is oil all filters all fluids topped up, everything bar spark plugs. It will get plugs before it goes in there. The oil is still clean and there is no mayo on filler cap or dipstick, but then it does 2x42 miles 5 days a week plus every second Saturday so gets well heated up.

I 'll assume he drives with a bit of enthusiasm too Davie :-D

I was amazed after taking mine for a good run yesterday to get the oil really hot how that was not achieved  Those engine do run cool and the sump pan is in the direct blast of cold air...

I can see why the oil never gets hot on short, cold runs...

It needs a sump-warmer

You could always get another one of those dash heaters, and fit it to the sump.

Gutted  The pool is closed this morning due to someone suffering diarrhoea in it last evening

Such an event forces a 24 hour closedown :(
