Happily, none of those in my stash of presents for little 'un Steve :)

I've now got all my Christmas shopping done. I went to our local Tesco at 6AM and found it really busy and totally bonkers

That said, although it was a bit mad, the atmosphere was superb with everybody happy and smiling :D I actually enjoyed it and it's not often I say that about doing my weekly shop!

I got some great last-minute presents for the family :D

Later I went out for my regular Monday Club run and found the Waitrose car park almost full at 0920! We meet up outside Waitrose, use their car park and then enjoy a coffee in their cafe afterwards. Very civilised...

By the time we got back after an awesomely magical run, the world had gone quite mad with full-on muppetry much in evidence  Cars were queueing for about half a mile to get into the Waitrose car park!

And busy on the roads... Took me twice as long to drive home as it did to drive to

I'm bloody glad it's all done and dusted for another year :) All I have to do now is wrap a few presents...

This is what happiness looks like on the eve of Christmas Eve ;)

We never noticed the graveyard at all... Just the rather lovely church... It is, in fact, the original Milton Keynes parish church, being situated in what was once the small village of Milton Keynes. The village itself remains well preserved within the City, almost like a living museum, and boasts a very fine pub...

Most older churches have graveyards - it's just a fact of life ;)

And a very Happy Christmas to you Skull and may it be a most excellent one :D

I'm busy wrapping presents and writing cards... I have a daughter who just wants cash this year so I did her something special rather than just transferring an amount to her bank account:

Another daughter wants a gift voucher that can only be delivered by email - it's getting similar treatment ;)

A very properly awesomely magical Christmas Day - one of the best ever :-D

It kicked off with a truly special parkrun and there met-up and ran with hundreds of good friends (and a few new ones too) :)

I even paced a friend's ten-year-old son, who's already getting very fast, to a new 5K PB (Personal Best) He was almost killing his dad at the speed he was going so he was very happy for me to take over pacing and adult supervision duties. All children under 11 at 'big' parkrun must be within an arms' reach of a responsible adult at all times. I was so proud :D Now his dad tells me I've got the job of pacing him to an even better PB!

Then it was off to see my own family for huge festive fun :D Autumn had an awesome time and a veritable mountain of presents! One of mine quickly became a firm favourite - a Bluey and Bingo tracksuit :)

I got some awesome presents in return:

(Same mug, rotated to show all-round)

And to round off the day, a fast blast on my bike :)

Good training for the upcoming TT season ;)

Christmas 2024 will go down as one of the best ever - so far ;)

No, London is logistically far too difficult for me nowadays Husky... Distance is no problem as I have a number of ultra marathons already lined up for 2025; the first one being in January :D

No prizes for guessing where I am today :)
