This thread gets better and better!

The yellow recovery lorry is something else and Centreville's CX 'ute is very special. Never knew Citroen made lorries..

Just what is that white car? I thought C6 with GS and CX overtones at first but now I'm not so sure? Whatever, from the rear it looks ace...

Looks like it has "suicide" doors at the rear as well :?

Citroen would do worse than re-introduce the CX...

Definitely a CX and they should reintroduce the CX, no question.

I quite agree, but why, oh why do they have to leave the door mirrors black

Actually i think the black mirrors work very well on the white C6. Too much white is just nastly and needs breaking up with a good dose of black and chrome, which the C6 manages there. If the mirrors were white they would stand out too much.

Im not so sure :?: when I was looking round, I looked at a silver C6 and it looked to me like they had forgot to paint them, I spoke to the salesman whos telling me that they had just sold another C6 and the customer had asked them to paint the mirrors, I guess it's personal choice

Personally i think its an asthetic decision. If the mirrors were white then the car would look alot wider....Citroen have always been about smoothness of design

Whole heartedly agreed Jim, thanks Richard 8-)

I have a few Citroen sets off Flickr and is where i get most of my pictures from TBH.

I must say though that looking at pictures of DS's hurts sometimes. I love the design so much but cannot afford to get one  It really transcends the level of being "a car" in my eyes....Truly stunning :luv:

Quite agree Vince. You think that now but just wait until you get an opportunity to drive a good BVH (semi-auto) DS. "Truly stunning" is not an adequate superlative any longer...

Drive one in the dark with yellow "follow me" headlights on and it's on yet another level.

To think the DS was introduced in 1955 almost beggars belief today.

I may be treading on dangerous ground here but I'd say every Citroen since has been a backward step.. There was even a prototype DS Activa that used a pendulum for roll control...

Fit a DS with hydractive suspension, the BVH gearbox and a nice V6 and you have the ultimate car I think...
