With the help of the Forum - I beat the rear arm bearings both sides - all done

Just one problem - stripped the thread on the pipe connection to the nearside suspension cylinder = happy days

teach me to get cocky

are the cylinders the same on all Xantias as Im off to the breakers Tuesday

Still the beraings are done - lol

Different cylinderbore on saloon(38mm) and estate(40mm) pre '95 models.
'95 on the same bore saloon & estate, but layout different to the pre '95 types.
Hydractive cylinders are obviously different : large 10mm pipe fittings instead of the standard small 3.5mm pipe fittings.

Hmm,

I think you've got that all jumbled up Anders.

The Citroen books I have say:

Estates all years, 40mm

Saloons before 1996 - 35mm, saloons 1996 onwards 37mm.
