How can you get them out easily?
I can only do mine by feel which takes ages!
Or should I be pulling the whole light unit out forwards by releasing a catch somewhere?

I changed my bulbs by doing the following :-
Near Side - Remove the battery.
Off side - Loosen the hydraulic fluid tank and push it until you get more space to work. Then hold it out of the way while your wife with much smaller hands reaches in and changes the bulb.
My hands were much too big for the offside unit.
Ofcourse, if you're not married you may have a problem.
cheers, Kev

Thanks for the advice guys.
I was hoping to be able to pull the unit forward. Wifey has small hands so may have to bribe her.
I did use the search facility using a variety of keywords without success before posting.

My C5 failed its MOT on the headlamp. Last year I had taken it to a non dealer, and a light bulb was fitted. It was not fitted correctly, is pointed at an angle. But it appears they broke the unit as new bulbs wobbled about so the whole unit needed repalced.
So be very careful as they may be delicate if you are not trained on them

Good point.
There's a central shield which the bulb must fit in - it's possible to push the bulb past it at an angle then do damage.
I fitted my bulb in 30 mins without moving the tank but at the expense of grazing the whole of the back of my hand.
