I'm mad enough to have a go bidding, for the sake of pushing the price up if
I lose the bidding frenzy there'll be in the dying seconds with Pugparts etc.
Problem is, you REALLY don't know how many cars I've already got...

Hopefully, that silver one is more money than the engine snatchers will
wear paying...

The silver one appears on the surface to be in good nick alright. A bit pricey to become an engine donor, but still cheaper than most of the Activas on Auto Trader...

I wonder whether folk are actually put off Activas due to their trick
suspension and not because of their fuel economy or insurance
- bet most wouldn't give a thought to a 'normal' Xantia though!!

The silver car isn't too bad a price for what's on offer - I get the
feeling the trader probably still fetched it in for apparent going rate
of £180 and got his lad to wash it and paint the tyrewalls black though...

He may be doing this particular Activa a favour pricing it out of the
clutches of the morons but it'll just come on again with a lower price
or £1 starting bid with no reserve on ebay if there's no takers in a couple
of days. :x

The signs don't bode well for the blue Activa - johno_78 who's just bid
has just bought a 205 strut brace according to his feedback...

The cost won't put them off. The price of an Mi16 engine in good nick is now getting extremely high if you can even find one.

If these engines are THAT valuable they'd surely have got it for the seller's
£300 straight away knowing full well that'd be the equivalent of their return
on the seats, wheels, lights, bodywork etc before even doing the deed with
the engine!
