Yes he's certainly testing the handling on that CX.

I wonder what he would be like, with an Activa.

Talking about Top Gear here's a link to their favourable, and interesting report on the DS.

It's a 3.43 minute report, where Richard Hammond who had a great time testing the DS, praises the car. :)

Yeah, but no !

As I, like all the other forum members have a hobby which keeps us all very busy, it's called Citroen ownership, and the trials and tribulations that go with it. :D

That vid of the CX getting the back out, watch the onboard shots, he is using the scandinavian flick into the bends, that'll bring the back end round on any car at that sort of speed.

Well having watched Top Gear, and the white van man report, what Richard Hammond did to the small van was only to be expected, when you try a Scandinavian flick with a Honda Act(up)y / Bedford (little) Rascal / Suzuki Super (ha ha) Carry (Optimistic name for a very small van :) ) as they are not exactly any good in the handling, let alone carrying department.

I didn't see it but I suspect it was staged or he didn't put enough effort into getting it to slide.

Getting the back end out on my Reliant Regal was the way I stopped it tipping over on the corners. I did go through 2 gearboxes in under a year though.
