Xantia Activa alloys, A Question

Post by Stewart(oily) »

I have recently acquired a set of Activa alloys intending to fit them to my TD Estate, there are no bolts with them and peering down the bolt holes seems to reveal a flat place for a washer to locate the wheel, just like the speedline alloys on my BX rather than a tapering fitment like the standard Xantia bolts, can an Activa owner put me right please?

Same with the Exclusive I had, bolts had a flat washer not a taper.

Donno if its exactly one of the styles shown - but the wheelbolt with washer is the correct type :
96.070.416 WHEEL MOUNTING SCREW Dkr46,80
Some £4ea. from your friendly stealer ...
They are 12x1.25 and also fits Peugeots if you want to hunt down cheaper alternatives 8)

The Mk 1 VSX style alloy wheels also had the flat washers.

Note that cars that were factory fitted with alloy wheels were supplied with a steel spare wheel with inserts so that the bolts with washers could be used, but (at least on my car) the locking bolts wll not fit the spare wheel.

Anders! Why can't you do that when I ask about a part? A nice little picture of the left hand front door window regulator, and the clutch cable for my Synergie would be nice!

I must admit that it looks like I dont want to service you like other members here

But its all up to some practical problems using Citroen's PR-net :
The Synergie model was not sold in DK under that name. Hence the Synergie does not show up in the list of models when I open PR-net.
I donno what the correct model variant name is outside UK
Besides there are substantial differences on pedal/cabling parts for LHD/RHD variants. And finally the retail prices comes up in Dkr.
I cannot login pretending I'm a UK resident/dealer. Only as a true DK resident/dealer.

Ive got :

Berlingo
Berlingo II VP
Berlingo II UP
C8
C15
C25
Jumpy
Jumper
Jumper II
Jumper III
Evasion

Which one would be a synergie ?

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

I might want to check all other posts first eh? My turn to get embarrased! Thanks Andrew! It's been a four-pack kind-of hot summers evening if you know what I mean. I've actually been smashing the backbox on the bus, trying to stop it from banging on the axle. Local Citroen Express center wanted £250 for a new box!

Thank you all very much :)

Good point that's not normally remembered until an offside front flat on a dark wet November evening on the skiddly narrow hard shoulder of the elevated concrete section of the M5 in Birmingham...

Andrew -

Appreciate very much you submit the images.
But they are too large in format. There are still quite a few members with slow modem connections for whom its a small nightmare waiting for the images to load.
Could you please either reduce the images or just submit the URL.

You may have noticed I always submit the URL for the same reason.

Thanks.
