Clarkson demonstrated the C6's suspension perfectly. A very pleasing review.
Hydractive 3+, just like i've got on my C5 Exclusive SE.
He was full of praise for the CX too. That man is so unpredictable.
ps. I wonder if you can access the Topgear footage if you set your browser up to use a proxy server thats based in the UK.

Sub Zero !
Interesting report a pleasure to watch, worth waiting to see it.
Featured film of a CX, and when the BBC used the DS as a camera car at the horse races.
The C6 was a car that both Clarkson, and the "Hamster" were both wanting to test.
Jeremy managed to beat Richard to testing the car.
He liked it, and praised it. 8)

Yeah, I thought about that too, but I wasn't able to find a working proxy server in the UK... I might wait and see if it turns up as a torrent, I was able to download the previous episode no problems. (at 440KB/sec it only took 15 minutes )ps. I wonder if you can access the Topgear footage if you set your browser up to use a proxy server thats based in the UK.

Anyone notice this on the topgear website ?
"Citroen has always had a reputation for making bizarre cars. So when Jeremy got the opportunity to review the C6, he was thrilled. He was clearly looking forward to the insane way old models had stereos mounted next to the handbrake, gear levers on the dashboard and indicators where the radio should be. But the C6 is a bit of a disappointment. All of the old Citroen fun seems to have gone.
But, to be fair, the C6 is an excellent car. It's not at all German, so it looks a bit different. The C6 has spectacular ride quality, which really does set it apart from competition of the same class. It would have been nice if you had to change gear using a lemon attached to a breadstick though. Just for old time's sake. "

The C6 doesn't have the same setup as the C5. The C6 a dual wishbone setup (like the 407 but its hydraulic) that has 4 spheres per axle, with one height sensor per side, I'm not sure the what or the how there was a post on here a while back with pictures and much speculation.KevMayer wrote:Hydractive 3+, just like i've got on my C5 Exclusive SE.
Its hydractive 3+ with AMVAR autoadaptive variable dampening. There are 4 spheres on the rear axle, the front only has 3.there are 4 body height sensors 1 for each wheel to control the AMVAR system.Kowalski wrote:The C6 doesn't have the same setup as the C5.
