Its a completely different car.......

.....Well the front end anyway

Ordered some back spheres and the accumulator sphere which is costing me £100 tomorrow.

I am still quite in shock at how sodding easy they were to do, the tool (Boa) worked a treat and no elbow grease was needed at all, unscrewed them, little loss of fluid, put the news ones in (lhm round the rubber) and hand tightened them, and they are working a treat....Birthday is 05/01/2006 so they are brand brand new too

The old ones well - it would appear 1 was replaced before my ownership as one was still quite nice and clean and fresh looking, the other was rusty and old looking but both still came off in seconds.

So £150 for spheres all round
£160 max for cam belt and water pump in early Feb

and Wilkobob thinks that the clutch is becoming suspect - quick ring for quote £280.

Cant say im that bothered about the expense as im keeping the car (certainly now im experiencing this magic carpet ride properly now).

Thanks for all the help, im well chuffed!
