Strange.
My 807 has pressure sensors which I assume are the same setup.
Recently had a slow puncture and the display would indicate one or more tyres low on pressure. After a while it changed to "slow puncture" and the stop light came on.
As for having the tyres changed. I've had them done once, plus the repair and they had been done at least once before I got it (not Michelins) and the sensors still appear to work.

I think it might be possible to de-activate the whole tyre pressure monitoring system in these cars using the Lexia computer diagnostic thing.
I was told that this could be done when I purchased my 2.2 HDI 2nd hand from a Cit specialist, and think it has been done to mine, it has sensors in the wheels, but does not warn when one of them gets low on air, and doesn't complain when I switch to a set of winter wheels without pressure sensors in them.

Tyre sensor valve came to a head so to speak as the top of the valve broke off when checking tyre pressure. Citroen main dealers deactived tyre sensor for nowt (many thanks for that info) and I replaced all sensors with conventional valves. The sensor valves were all very brittle and corroded which now leads the question of safety - valve could have broken at any time and no advice from Citroen of how long a sensor valve should remain in service unchanged.
