OOOH, I've just acquired a pair of the gas discharge headlamps from a dead C5 Exclusive to fit to my own, halogen equipped SX
Thanks to Wheeler, I know how to take off the bumper, and I've also checked the extra plug these lamps require is present and correct on the harness. Anything else I should know before tearing mine apart????

You may need to get the front foglamps de-programed from the BSI,the Xenon lamps dont have fron foglams so i dont know if it will operate correctly,just remember to check them afterwards.
Also cars fitted with HID headlamps must have automatic beam level correction & headlamp washers fitted by law just so you know.again the suspension ECU (BHI) should be able to be re-programed to get the beam correction working but the washers would be a lot more hassle.
I hope you checked that the bulbs were ok because they aint cheap.
