Knocking at the back
there is a knock when i go over bad parts of the rd wich is more than good rd i have seen a post some where but cant find it now i have not looked yet can some one give me an idea what it might be

Can't believe I have just read this post... have just come in from adjusting mine, it's been driving me mad.... but I adjusted the two bump stop and achieved the same results.D.Slatford wrote:You forgot to say what car you have, but the Xantia's I've had were prone to loose boot latches - just a fraction, but enough so there's a few mm play in the boot which becomes more obvious over bumps. Adjusting the latch bolts so it closes tighter fixes it.
