Xantia not sinking

Post by Szegedi »

Recently my Xantia developed strange habit. When parked the bottom stays very high. When started I have to wait for back to come down and not to raise. I do not feel any problems in driving but I am worried that this parking position put to much strain on the system. One more thing - also very strange - when it rains for a few hours then the back sinks "normally". Is this something to worry about?

As long as it rides at the right height I wouldn't worry about it. No harm will occur, whatever position the suspension sits in when stationary.
