abs warning light xm 20 16v sx

hi guys
i have a xm 20 16v sx and the abs warning light has justy started to come on hard it does flicker then stays on then i turn off and it goes out on 7 out of 10 trips now i guess it must be a sensor wire or bad connection i have the estate model but i dont have a clue where to start looking please give me some pointers chaps

From your description, it sounds like one of the ABS sensors or wiring to them is dodgy. The easiest way to find the culprit is to perform a diagnostic test (Citroen workshop). Alternately if you are handy, you can check the resistance of the sensor circuits from the ABS control unit box with a multimeter. But in order to do that, you need to know the year of the car so that the corect wiring diagram can be found.
