Post by weety »

Hi there the post below was on the yahoo xantia forum....both my xantias dont have service clocks........could someone check if this works and then we could shift it into the hints and tips part
cheers
Hi everybody,
I don't know if it is of any interest to you, or maybe it is a known
thing, but I just discovered a few days ago how to reset the service
counter:
With the ignition switch off, press and hold the trip meter reset
button. Then open the ignition switch while holding the reset button.
After about 3 seconds the diaplay start to change in the following
sequence:
00002
00020
00200
02000
20000
You can select each of these, by releasing the reset button when the
desired number is displayed.

Mine worked like that but counted 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000
Also relesing the button on anything other than 10000 did nothing.

Yes it does. It works on Xsara Picasso and many others.
