as i said earlier hydraulic citroen cam is different to non hyd cam because you need slot in end of cam to drive vaccum pump for servo on all other car that this engine will fit into as far as i know have fun malcolm

One of my Xantias has the Vacuum pump and the other does not.
The later engine (97 on, with ECU) uses the vacuum to operate the cold idle and the EGR.

Yes my Xantia is a 1996 N so probly will need a Vacuum pump And how easy or shal i say hard is it to put a diesel in a petrol car?

hydraulic citroen dont ever use vacum pump firstly they dont have a servo for bake presure assistance because all presure is poduced by hyd/system so what you might think is a vacum pump is not it is prob the hydraulic pump best regards malcolm

Actualy xantias with cruse control have a vacume pump so thats not always true...
