Thanks for all the comments; I like to try to keep abreast of whatever improvements have been developed with things like this or progress passes you by.
As I said, I did have an unpleasant experience with a similar stuff a few years back so I expect it's a case of everything in moderation. (Says the guy who once poured a couple of egg whites into the radiator of an old Ford Prefect to get home)[:o)][}:)]
