Xantia Alarm

Post by rossnunn »

She's had it 5 mins and she's complaining! Mothers![8)]
The xantia we picked up aparently the alarm keeps going off on its own. Thinking - like you do - aaah its just her, I went round. Sure enough its goes off all on its own, or so I thought.
I started by turning off the ultrasonics inside but it still goes off, then I spotted the cause - MOGGY! The bloody cat is setting it off everytime she jumps up on the bonnet. Short of shooting the fur ball, can I adjust the sensitivity of the alarm??
Cheers

Have a look at the bonnet sensor, Can it be adjusted.
I think its on the slam panel towards the right hand side on a Xantia, But dont quote me on that.

The sensor on the bonnet is really just a switch on the O/S bonnet catch.
