I was thinking of buying that Gunson Fault Code Reader, it's only £20, but do any of you guys know if it would be any good for a 1991 H reg V6 24v XM? Also, where abouts is the diagnostics port on this engine?

You may not need a code reader - have a look at

near the bottom of the page especially. I know its for BX but your system probbaly works in much the same way. This is a huge and fascinating site and does have some XM specific pages.
