Shhh!! Replaced N/S front W/Bearing – Lovely !!

Post by sbraud »

So despite the snow, I managed to change front N/S wheel bearing. It was giving me a headache every time I took her out! – The car, not her-in-doors. [;)] It’s been steadily getting worse over the last year, to the point where radio was on max just so I could here it or, more accurately, drown out the WHIR, WHIR, WWHHHIIRRR!!
And now… Radio off, new Toyo Proxes and just the sound of rubber on tarmac – Lovely!! I’d forgotten what a lovely drive she is… and at 10 years!!
Now to get round to those other jobs on list… [xx(]
Ps Thanks Richard for those hubs, they work a treat!

Don't you feel better for doing the job as well? Just think you can score extra points with er-in-doors by using the "safety aspect" of you home mechanics. This will lead to you once again being the MAN (in a James Brown way).

Cheers guys !!
Yep… I can definitely say ``I Feel Good’’ about sorting that myself. [:D][:D]
Unfortunately Her-in-doors doesn’t appreciate the finer nuances of the home mechanic, unless, it’s her car that’s out of action! [;)]
What can I say…
