somebody please have a quick fix for this !
during very wet weather (most of the year here in the North West) I have a problem with my Zx factory alarm.The sounder makes strange squealing noises when it is armed ! also if I just use the central locking with the key and not the fob it still emits strange muted groans !!! it then proceeds to drain the battery overnight.
It is as though the alarm is going off but the sounder is knackered.
Since I have had the car it has done this on and off but now I have to disconnect the battery at night.
Also the indicators don't flash if you arm the alarm and sometimes the interior led is flashing in the morning for no reason and won't reset unless you dis the battery.
Where is the fuse or wiring to the alarm so I can Junk IT !!!
